She then joined the Public Relations and Communications Department at Whirlpool. She was the first woman to be hired as a manager and accepted into Whirlpool’s management development program. She began her career at Whirlpool Corporation, Benton Harbor, Michigan US, joining immediately after graduating from the University of Missouri. She specialized in leadership and managing diversity and inclusion and is considered a pioneer for her work having been engaged in numerous successful initiatives with major clients. ![]() Although retired from consulting, she is an Authorized Partner for Wiley’s DiSC® and Five Behaviors products, available through her firm.
